2010.12.23.Castrum Sec Ltd. projects in the Intellio Newsletter

The Intellio Newsletter of December 2010 reports on the outstanding Castrum project which had been completed in the last months.

Police along with the operators of the Intellio systems reported positive feedback on the reliability of the Intellio video monitoring system implemented by Castrum Sec Ltd.

We would like to introduce the following three implementations:

  1. Haladás Football Stadium, Szombathely
  2. Main Square of Körmend City and its Surroundings
  3. Schott Forma Vitrum (supplier of parenteral packaging for the pharmaceutical industry)

1. Haladás Football Stadium, Szombathely

During the implementation of the Intellio Surveillance System in the Haladás Football Stadium, safety played the most important role from the football club’s point of view. Being able to monitor fans, potential rioters and all areas of the stand that are considered unsafe is a key factor of safety, allowing immediate interaction in due course.

Speed Dome Cameras hanging from the roof top of the grand stand ensures speed domeperfect view to the sectors of high priority. Handling of the cameras is carried out by the Police during important games.
Special feature of the system is that there is WIFI connection between the cameras and the server. Advantage of this solution is that the picture of the cameras can be visualised anywhere through a mobile client. A Police bus equipped with a camera will also be connected to the system which will serve as a mobile commander centre during larger events.

2. Main Square of Körmend City and its Surroundings

A new surveillance system has been completed in Szabadság Square in Körmend city in November 2010. The monitoring of the main square and the surrounding streets was the priority aspect during planning.
Great emphasis had been placed on the aesthetics of the solutions to compose a uniform appearance with the recently implemented candelabras.

The cameras are connected to the network with copper and optical cables because of the long distances, the receiving centre of which has been placed in the Mayor’s Office. The pictures of the camera are carried through the building of the Police located 600m from the camera through a professional point-point based WiFi backbone network where the monitoring takes place on the central duty point.
PTZs follow preprogrammed routes and carry out ongoing monitoring.
Besides, the officer on duty can of course manage the system manually as well.
A camera had been placed onto the building of the Police as well to monitor the parking areas. Further developments and expansions are planned, as well as the implementation of a number plate recognition system to control the transit through the city.

3. Schott Forma Vitrum (supplier of parenteral packaging for the pharmaceutical industry)

A The Schott Forma VitrumLtd. - producing parenteral packaging for the pharmaceutical industry in Lukácsháza - ordered an IP camera system from the Castrum Sec Ltd. to replace the analog camera system in place. The aim was to ensure a complex coverage both indoor and outdoor . The fix cameras receive power supply with POE technology; in this way the Ethernet data network itself ensures the power supplies in out-of-reach places where the implementation of a separate power supply would have been difficult or expensive.

In the course of implementation, intelligent cameras with outstanding sensitivity had been fitted in poorly lit building parts to ensure pictures of excellent quality.
During the official handover at the beginning of November 2010, the representative of the company acknowledged the precise, on-time and aesthetic work of the technicians as well as the quality of the records and the user friendly and easily manageable keyboard.
